Young Thug says that when he marries Jerrika Karlae, there will be not one, but two brides at his wedding.

In an interview with Billboard, the Atlanta rapper said "there will be two brides" at his upcoming nuptials to the swimwear designer. Of course, everyone took that to mean that Thugger will probably be the other "bride," but given his penchant for fashion and flare, who knows what he's really alluding to.

Thugger further explains his fashion sense and boundary pushing in the candid interview. Highly acclaimed for his fashion sense, the rapper recently became a face for Calvin Klein’s 2016 global campaign, as well as for Puma, switching up his styles as he sees fit. Additionally, he's a mentor on season 7 of the show VFILES Runway.

No stranger to controversy, Thugger spawned a lot of think-pieces about hip-hop and sexuality with the cover for his latest mixtape, No My Name is Jeffery, when he wore a ruffled blue gown designed by Alessandro Trincone, which somehow seemed to pay homage to both southern debutantes and Mortal Kombat's Raiden.

“When I seen that dress I felt like God gave it to me," he says in the interview.

He also recalls being chastised for testing his fashion sense and gender fluidity at a young age.

“When I was 12, my feet were so small I wore my sisters’ glitter shoes," he remembers. "My dad would whoop me: ‘You’re not going to school now, you’ll embarrass us!’ But I never gave a f— what people think.”

In the interview, he reinforces the idea of gender fluidity, particularly as it pertains to fashion.

“When it comes to swag,” he says, “there’s no gender involved.”
