Killeen police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a bank Friday afternoon.

KPD's Ofelia Miramontez reports that the department received a 911 call in reference to a robbery at the 1st National Bank at 4304 E. Central Texas Expressway at 12:56 PM. Officers were told a man entered the bank, approached a teller, and presented a note demanding money. The teller complied with the man's demands, after which the man fled the scene in a black pickup truck. (Image below.)

The suspect was described as a white man in his 50's standing between 5'6" and 5'8" and weighing around 150 pounds. He had a mustache and goatee and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black coat, and a plaid scarf. He also had on a multi-colored shirt and black pants.

Information submitted to Crime Stoppers is anonymous and confidential, and tips leading to an arrest could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
