Police violence is in the news again. This time, a black man was shot in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 2nd by a 73 year old "reserve deputy" who mistakenly pulled his gun instead of his taser.

Watch the video, below. Warning, graphic content.

Reserve deputy? Robert Bates has given money to the Tulsa Police Department and helped the Sheriff get re-elected. Which is news to me. I've never heard that if you give lots of money to the Police Department you can be on the force as a Reserve Deputy???

In the video you hear a gun shot and then Bates say "I shot him. I'm sorry."
