Gucci Mane has been working non-stop since his release from prison in May. Now, he's teaming up with Drake for a new mixtape called The 6ers.

In July, Zaytoven told Pigeons & Planes that the project "might" be called 6ers. In a new interview with VladTV, the ATL producer confirms the mixtape title.

Zay tells DJ Vlad, "Gucci and Drake started talking. And you know how Gucci is. 'Hey man, we gotta do a tape together. We gotta do something together.' And Drake like, 'Bet. We gotta do it.' Right then, they started thinking about a name and then Drake said, I think he said, 'We oughta call it The 6ers' or something like that because I guess where he’s from, they call it the 6 and Gucci Mane is from Zone 6. Then we just ran with it."

He continues, "Mike WiLL [Made-It] jumped in and was like, ‘Me and Zay will start on it. We’ll do the beats for it. We’ll start on that right now.’ Everybody was in agreeance with it. It was like, ‘Okay, that’s what we’re gonna do.’ And we started making songs on it already."

The Atlanta beatsmith tells DJ Vlad that Guwop has already finished two records for the project. Zaytoven says, "We've got two concrete, for sure songs that'll go for the project. We did the songs at Gucci's house, and Gucci sent them to Drake. And Drake already said he's knocking them out."

Gucci and Drizzy most recently collaborated on "Back on Road," a cut from the former's album Everybody Looking. In other Guwop news, Mr. Zone 6 recently hopped on the remix of Major Lazer and Justin Bieber's new record, "Cold Water." If you can't get enough of the Trap God, check out his music video for "Gucci Please," which dropped on Aug. 9.
