A Texas parole officer was arrested and charged with human trafficking in a case that allegedly involved multiple victims and prostitution. 

The Offender

According to Taylor County Jail records, Symone Miller, a parole officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, was arrested on Tuesday, March 18th for human trafficking.

Records indicate that Miller is accused of forcing two people, one under the age of 18, into prostitution in Tom Green County in March of 2021.

The Victims

Court documents claim that Miller assaulted and threatened two victims, one under the age of 18, and forced them to "become intoxicated without consent" which impaired their ability to make rational decisions.

The Charges

Symone Danielle Miller was arrested and officially charged with Traffic Of Persons Under 18/Prostitution/Forced Labor and Trafficking Of Person. She was booked into Taylor County Jail and released after posting a bond of $250,000.

According to the Big Country Homepage, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice confirmed that Miller is an active Parole Officer and has been suspended pending the results of these charges.
