American Airlines Terminates 4 Flights Out of This Texas Airport
Traveling is one of my favorite things in the world, and it’s especially easy here in Texas. There is so much to do and see in Texas you could be traveling all the time. But we are also fortunate to have so many gigantic airports in so many large cities, which helps if we want to go further distances. Although we are hearing that American Airlines has decided to stop 4 flights out of one Texas airport.
Just like all of us, companies are trying to cut costs right now and if an airline company has flights that are not profitable then it makes sense to stop those, so you don’t continue to lose money. It’s not what travelers want to hear but it’s part of doing business.
The Flights Will Stop in November and January
According to an article by KXAN out of Austin, American Airlines will discontinue four routes that were all out of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Three of the flights will stop in November, one of the flights will stop in January. Although American is still offering 30% more peak-day departures and 20% more peak-day seats departing from Austin compared to where they were in 2019.
