
Temple, TX Fire: A Life Lost, Three Beloved Pets Gone
A tragic incident occurred on May 8, when a person was hospitalized and three dogs were killed following a fire at a residence in Temple, according to KWTX. The fire broke out around 4 PM in the 3000 block of Hickory Road. According to authorities, first responders arrived to find the home filled with heavy smoke and flames coming from both the front and back of the building.

Emergency crews located one occupant inside the home, along with three dogs in a back bedroom. All were removed from the structure. Authorities stated that the individual was transported to the emergency room with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, all three dogs succumbed to their injuries.

The individual later survived their injuries. The cause of the fire remains unknown, but an investigation is underway by the Temple Fire Marshal’s Office.
