According to KCENT, Waco police are searching for a suspect following a deadly shooting that occurred Thursday evening in Waco, Texas. The incident took place around 7:17 p.m. near the 1300 block of E. Waco Drive. Officers were dispatched to the area in response to reports of gunfire.

One Dead After Shooting on East Waco Drive in Waco

Upon arrival, police discovered a 30-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, a 24-year-old man, was also found at the location and was transported to a hospital by American Medical Response. As of now, he is reported to be in stable condition.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. However, on Thursday, the Waco Police Department identified the deceased victim as Jeremy Muniz. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Waco police at 254-750-7500 or submit a tip to Crime Stoppers at 254-753-4357.The Waco Police Department stated that information leading to an arrest could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
