Texas just took, (another), huge step backwards with regard to legalizing marijuana. No surprise there but, this time, they did it in a pretty sneaky fashion.

A growing number of Texans are totally FOR legalizing it and several Texas cities voted to decriminalize it. That's not "legalizing" it but agreeing not to arrest somebody for it is the closest Texas has ever come to doing so.

I guess "Big Gov" is tired of us uppity potheads getting what we want because now you can't even vote for it.

I know there's a huge stick up certain people's big fat butts on this matter. C'mon though, seriously ... enough already. It's obvious that Texans support legal marijuana and pretty clear that laws against it aren't stopping Texans from "going green".

Dispensaries are popping up all over southern New Mexico and they're in areas that clearly don't have the population to sustain them. Newsflash 'Guv - Texans and Texas dollars are keeping their doors open.

Anyway, back in Texas, "guerilla legalization" has occurred with many cities voting to decriminalize mota. It's still not legal, the cops ... some by choice, others by public vote ... just won't arrest peeps for small amounts. The people voted for it so, obviously, it's what they want. Right?

Well, it's not want the Texas overlords want so, they just took away your right to vote on it. A Senate Bill passed, (23-8), and now goes to the House that strips away your vote in a sneaky way.

They know it's gonna pass so they wrote a law that says it can't be put on a ballot. You can't say yes or no to a question your local government isn't allowed to ask, can you? SMDH.
