A man wanted for murder in Georgia is now behind bars in Killeen.

Detectives from the Killeen Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit arrested 22-year-old Curtis Dewayne Jackson Jr. Sunday. The arrest came after officers with Georgia’s Bibb County Sheriff’s Office informed KPD that Jackson Jr. had an outstanding murder warrant out of Macon, Georgia and may have been hiding out in Killeen.

Jackson Jr. was found at 1600 East FM 3470 and take into custody without incident. He’ll be transferred from the Killeen City Jail back to Georgia.
