Copperas Cove High School alum and former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III will be inducted into the Texas Sports Hall Of Fame in March.

The Copperas Cove community is still in shock over the recent news that longtime football coach and Athletic Director Jack Welch is no longer with the district after it was reported that his office was cleaned out.

He's baaaaaccck. Robert Griffin III has signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens. Griffin, who won the Heisman Trophy in 2012, had an impressive rookie year with the Washington Redskins but was sidelined with a nasty knee injury...

Washington Redskins announced this morning that they are releasing Robert Griffin III, a Copperas Cove alum, from their roster.
