Texas A&M’s Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band is the best band in college football!

USA Today’s College Football Fan Index has named the Texas A&M’s Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band as the best band in college football! The ranking was determined by social media activity and weekly online polls, according to The Eagle. Last year's top band, the University of Southern California’s Trojan Marching Band, got bumped to 2nd place! Just two years ago, the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band was in the number-8 spot! The other schools in the top 10 include Ohio State University, University of Tennessee, Ohio University, Pennsylvania State University, Stanford University, University of Michigan and University of Alabama.

“For those of us who have the privilege of watching the Aggie band perform every week, this recognition is no surprise, as the cadets in the band consistently awe the crowd with their intricate halftime drills at every game,” Brig. Gen. Joe Ramirez, commandant of the Corps of Cadets, said in a statement.
