Urgent Recall For Hazardous Chicken Nuggets Now Issued In Texas
Texas may be the beef state, but parents everywhere know that chicken nuggets are the guaranteed winner when it comes to filling the bellies of their kids especially if you are short on time. Even when you are a parent like me that has more than one kid that does not exactly jump up and down for meat entrees, you can still convince your more vegetarian trending children to gobble down some chicken nuggets.

So, if your family is like mine and loves their chicken nuggets sometimes all of the time, you are going to want to check your freezer for a few different Perdue products because they have been recalled according to the United States Department of Agriculture. Each of the two packages that have been recalled would be considered family sized.
The recall effects items with a best by date of March 23, 2025 for these products:
- Breaded Chicken Breast Tenders - UPC Bar Code of 0-72745-80431-1
- Organics Gluten Free Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets - UPC Bar Code of 0-72745-80656-8

Apparently metal wire was found within some of the packages and even though no injuries have been reported thus far, the recall was issued by the manufacturer out of caution. The Texas Department of State Health Services listed this recall among their most recent issued in the past week.
Hopefully your deep freeze has back ups until more nugs can be obtained.
