Walmart Now Closing Every Texas Store On The Same Day

Texas is flirting with record highs as we enter the middle of October, and I do not know about you, but it this lingering summer weather is making it very difficult to get into not only the fall season, but also the holiday spirit. Be honest and raise your hand if you were consciously aware that we are only 10 weeks from Christmas and 2025 begins just 1 quickly moving week after that.

What might be the most challenging part to process about the scenario mentioned above is how can we not acknowledge 2024 is quickly finishing because if your year has gone anything like mine, my body has been needing a break for the last 10 weeks or so.

So, now that we have all come to an agreement that 2024 has indeed been long enough and we could all use a break, just imagine how the retail workers at Walmart are feeling.

Walmart has announced for the fifth year in a row, they will all be closed in Texas for Thanksgiving to allow their staff to enjoy the holiday with family, and the Christmas shopping season will officially begin on Black Friday.
