For the last two days it's been an ongoing man hunt for a Houston resident. Today, state officials called off the man hunt.

Jahnran Goode, 24 year old male, was stopped for a traffic violation on I-35 at around 4:40 p.m. Monday.

The suspect fled from his vehicle and jumped into Waco Creek, which has a tunnel system of drainage pipes. The Hewitt, Baylor and Waco police alongside McLennan County sheriffs deputies searched for the man. They even called in the help of the K9 unit. According to Pct. Constable Walk Strickland "The dogs tracked him to the side of the interstate but he had crawled into a culvert too small for the unit to fit in so we had suspend the search."

According to authorities they know a local address and are confident they will catch him soon.
