More than 5,000 Temple area residents to gather for free community meal at the Frank W. Mayborn Civic and Conference Center

In the spirit of the holiday season, H-E-B will host the 13th Annual Feast of Sharing, an open-invitation and festive event where Temple-area residents can enjoy a free holiday meal and live entertainment.

Hundreds of H-E-B and community volunteers will collaborate on the meal preparations, which will serve more than 5,000 meals. In addition to a free meal, a full evening of fun will be at hand, with a Winter Wonderland featuring children’s activities and crafts; a visit from Santa Claus; and live on-stage entertainment.

H-E-B’s commitment and involvement in the community has been recognized as an important part of the way the company does business. The twenty-four-year Feast of Sharing Dinner tradition started in Laredo and Corpus Christi, Texas in 1988. H-E-B’s Feast of Sharing dinners have now grown to 31 locations that serve more than 250,000 meals to people throughout Texas and Mexico during the months of November and December.
