Over the weekend (May 20), 6ix9ine was arrested for driving without a license in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was later charged with aggravated unlicensed operation. It looks like there's even more to the story, as TMZ reports that the rainbow hair rapper was also charged with assaulting a police officer while at the police station.

According to the outlet, the "Gummo" spitter was taken to a Brooklyn precinct, where he was going to be given a desk appearance ticket. While he was there, cops learned of his arrest warrant in Houston, Texas, which is when they tried to put handcuffs on him and take him into custody. Police sources say that 6ix9ine allegedly grabbed and squeezed a lieutenant's hand hard enough for it to become swollen, leading to them booking him for assaulting a police officer.

While he will still have to deal with the charges, the Brooklyn native was reportedly arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court and later released on $25,000 bail.

If you recall, 6ix9ine was originally approached by an officer when his car was illegally parked in front of a fire hydrant in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. When he was asked to show his license, the officer ran it through his computer and found that it was suspended, which led to him being charged.

The buzzing star has had a fair amount of dealings with the law over the years. Previously, 6ix9ine pleaded guilty to "use of a child in a sexual performance" after he was seen touching a 13-year-old girl in a sexual manner on video. He also just made a truce with fellow N-Y rapper, Casanova after their feud resulted in gun fire between their two parties, which led to 6ix9ine being barred from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
