Singer Amber Holcomb was eliminated on tonight's (May 2) episode of 'American Idol.' That means the all-female Top 3 is comprised of Candice Glover, Kree Harrison and Angie Miller.

While we are bummed to see Holcomb bounce, congrats to the Top 3.

The show combined both last week's votes and this week's votes, since no one was sent home seven days ago due to the fact that an extra week was built into the programming schedule because of the save, which the judge's panel never used.

We found out that Glover and Miller were safe and moving on to the next round first, leaving Holcomb and Harrison to bite their nails and await their fates. We suspected it was the end of the road - cue the Boyz II Men song- for Holcomb. She never seemed to truly connect with the audience on the same level as Glover, Harrison and Miller, so we're not surprised to see her go. Even so, we're bummed, since she had such a pretty voice.

Season 7 winner David Cook was on hand and performed his new song 'Laying Me Low.' The tattooed rocker brought it, with the super catchy new cut. We love his raspy voice.

will.i.am also performed 'Bang Bang,' his tune from 'The Great Gatsby' soundtrack. With his top hat and expertly coordinated moves, will was fully entertaining and the production had a Jazz Age vibe.

We're down to the final weeks of 'Idol,' and the Top 3 is comprised of three women who could be signed to major label record deals tomorrow. A female has not won the prize since Jordin Sparks back in 2007 for Season 6.

Good luck and much love to Candice, Kree and Angie on their quest to be the winner of Season 12 of 'American Idol.'
