Arrest Made in Waco Shooting that Sends Man to Hospital

A suspect was taken into custody late Tuesday morning for a shooting that took place in a North Waco neighborhood.

KWTX's Ke'Sha Lopez reports that the shooting occured in the 2400 block of Colonial Avenue around 10:15 AM. It appears that a 34-year-old man and a 28-year-old man got into an argument, during which the latter was shot. He was transported to a local hospital.

The suspect was arrested at the scene. Police didn't release the names of the victim or the shooter.

Lopez's report mentions a shell casing having been found at a nearby apartment complex, but it was unclear if it was related to this case.
