Texas Lottery Prize Winner Now Claims Massive Jackpot Anonymously
Austin, Texas has a new millionaire amongst its ranks of nameless faces after they won a massive jackpot in the Texas Lottery, and now we know what they plan on doing with their winnings. People often get super excited once the jackpots on games like Mega Millions and Powerball begin to reach the 9 figures, and some people nearly lose their heads once those jackpots eclipse the 10 ($1 billion) digit threshold.

I am not good at math at all, but winning a sizable jackpot in one of the two major nationwide lotteries is statistically much more impossible than catching lightning in a bottle. Of course it does happen, but winning the Mega Millions or Powerball is about 200 times less likely than simply getting struck by lightning.
The winning ticket was actually drawn a few weeks ago on June 24th, after it was purchased at the Salt Springs Xpress (pictured above) earlier that day. It was only just this week that they came forward anonymously, and claimed the cash option of the $29 million jackpot.
The winner will now collect a check for $16.5 million, and were quoted as saying they will now,
"Retire and enjoy the rest of their life."

It is nice to see some good fortune occur at the same location that had just a few weeks earlier experience a hostage standoff that ended with a SWAT officer shooting and killing the suspect according to this CBS Austin article.
