Austin, Texas was barely into the long 4th of July holiday weekend when another body turned up in what is being called the dumping ground for an alleged serial killer plaguing the downtown area locally referred to as the Rainey Street Ripper. Austin's Lady Bird Lake has reportedly been the final destination for no less than a dozen people in just the past two years with a majority of them being eleven men ranging in ages from 30 to 59.

Of course, nobody wants to jump to the quick conclusion that there is a serial killer loose in the Austin downtown, and is apparently targeting late night bar goers in the Rainey Street Historic District.

However, depending on your particular school of thought, it is either an outrageous coincidence that so many unexplained deaths keep occurring in the same area, or you do not believe in coincidence and there is always a logical answer to every question. The answer, more often than not, is now being returned with the theory of the Rainey Street Ripper.

Austin, Texas Serial Killer Responsible For Another New Body?

Now, two years into regularly finding bodies floating in Lady Bird Lake, the questions are mounting, and even if there is no immediately threat to the community in the way of a serial killer, it does appear to be abundantly clear there there is a very real threat to the general safety of people who travel near Lady Bird Lake.
