Baylor University Extends Spring Break Due To Fear Of Coronavirus
Baylor University is extending spring break.
Due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus Baylor University is taking early precautionary measures by extending the spring break dates. The spring semester will resume on March 23, but classes will be provided only online for a two-week period from March 23 through April 3.
All student meetings and activities have been suspended for the next three weeks, according to Baylor President Dr. Linda Livingstone.
Residence halls and dining facilities will be open during the next three weeks based on demands.
The school is asking anyone who has traveled internationally or domestically to follow U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and self-quarantine for 14 days.
