Bell County Public Health District is preparing for the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

The administration of the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine Pfizer is set to begin February 3rd, according to KWTX.

Bell County Health officials will administer the shot at a drive-thru site at the Bell County Expo Center from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday. With hopes to administer 100 shots per hour, officials are asking residents to come prepared with their COVID-19 vaccination records.

Residents who have already received their first dose through one of the two county vaccination spots will begin to receive calls to schedule their appointment.

Please note that the second dose may not be administered earlier than 21 days after the initial vaccination. Still, there is no maximum interval between the first and second, so do not panic if you can't get an appointment directly after the 21st day.
