Mere hours after the inauguration of 46th President Joe Biden, a collector's bobblehead went up for presale, and it's not of Joe.

That's right. The real star of the show was Berne Sanders, who, unlike most in attendance Wednesday, did not dress to impress. Bernie dressed to stave off the cold. You know, like a normal person.

It's pretty hilarious to me that of all the moments from today's inauguration, the one that's gone viral is an image of Bernie sitting in his winter gear and giant mittens looking as if he'd rather be anywhere else.

I'm sure that wasn't the case, but I'm on board with Twitter user @rachsyme's take on the viral photo:

The photo had barely become the talk of the internet before the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum announced that they're turning Bernie's look into a special bobblehead.

The Hall of Fame is releasing bobbleheads of President Biden, Vice President Harris, and even First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and the couple's dogs, Champ and Major. But let's be real: The one collectors will be clamoring for is Winter Wear Bernie.

According to a news release from the Hall of Fame I received at 3:42 PM (that was fast!), the tradition of political bobbleheads goes back to 1960, when President John F. Kennedy became the first politician to be captured in bobblehead form.

Even with how bitterly divided Americans are along political lines right now, I hope people can at least have a laugh at this story. Whatever your views, there's humor to be found here. Again, of all the moments to be ingrained in people's memories of today, a picture of Bernie in huge mittens is the one that's going to end up standing out the most.

If you're a political bobblehead collector, you can pre-order the casual Bernie bobblehead here.

Meanwhile, here are a few more great tweets about this absolutely ridiculous trend.
