Business magazine Fortune has dropped its list of Best Places to Work in Health Care for 2022 across the country, and a company in Texas took the top spot.

Rankings are based on survey responses from over 161,000 employees in the healthcare industry across the United States.

Best Workplaces in Health Care

According to the Great Places to Work survey, the ranking is based on work experiences of employees, including level of trust, respect, credibility, fairness, pride, and overall connection of co-workers. Large companies were ranked separately from small to medium companies. Five of the following 50 small to medium companies ranked were in Texas:

Maven Clinic in New York City was ranked at the top of the list for small to medium healthcare companies. You can see the full list at greatplacetowork.com.

Texas Health Resources

Only two out of 30 large companies ranked were in Texas. Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Dallas was number 23 on the list. Also named as one of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For, Texas Health Resources, Inc. in Dallas was ranked number one out of 30 Best Workplaces in Health Care for large companies in the United States and listed as one of the Best Workplaces in Texas.

Texas Health Resources also received the 2022 American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM) Patient Safety Award, honoring organizational excellence in patient safety.

According to the company website, Texas Health Resources is a faith-based, nonprofit health system in North Texas serving patients through Texas Health Physicians Group, hospitals, outpatient facilities, Neighborhood Care & Wellness Centers, home health, and preventive/fitness services.
