Beyonce owns the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards

On a night that honored Rihanna with the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award (Lifetime Achievement Award) at the MTV Video Music Awards, Beyonce stole the night with her electric performance.

Queen Bey performed songs from 'Lemonade' that along with visual effects, perfect choreography and for 15 minutes laced us with 100% sexy, she delivered hands down the best performance of the night!

Rihanna performed her long list of hits throughout the night with four performances.

And ended the night by being presented with the award by her boyfriend Drake.

Just when I was about to rhetorically ask are they together or not, (he did say he was in love with her in public) this happened:

Yup they go together.....

Rihanna is only 28 years old, and has put together a remarkable career to be honored at such a young age.

Beyonce also won Video Of The Year, Best Choreography, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing for "Formation".

She also won Best Female Video for 'Hold Up'.

Drake won Best Hip Hop Video Male 'Hotline Bling' 

In my opinion the show displayed two things, its Rihanna's time now, but Beyonce ain't going nowhere!  (If that makes sense).
