Bun B Shoots Armed Intruder in His Home: Report
Bun B and his wife, Queenie, have both just experienced an attempted burglary and lived to tell about it.
According to a report Houston's ABC 13 posted on Wednesday (April 24), the rap legend shot a would-be armed robber at his Houston home on Tuesday evening.
The news outlet says police told them the incident occurred in the late afternoon on Tuesday, and it began with a knock on the door. When Bun's wife, Queenie, opened it, she found a masked gunman on the other side who was demanding valuables, so she directed him to her Audi in the garage. Police say that Bun heard the commotion from upstairs, and immediately grabbed his gun and ran to confront the intruder.
Several shots were fired during Bun's argument with the suspect, who has been identified as DeMonte Jackson, before he fled on foot and left his gun behind. He showed up at a Houston-area hospital hours later and was treated for a gunshot wound to his shoulder before getting arrested on two counts of aggravated robbery with a weapon and one count of burglary.
Bun B, who released his latest album, Return of the Trill, in August 2018, has yet to speak on this matter publicly.
