Chicago Rapper Lil Durk In Trouble With The Law Again And Could Get 5 Years For The Latest Charge If Convicted
I met Chicago's Lil Durk a few weeks ago when he came to the radio station. Lil Durk to me seems like a soft spoken 22 year young brother who I think is good enough to make it in this crazy business.
Chicago Police say that a Chicago gang task force went to the home of the year-old rapper, born Durk Banks, to investigate a homicide when they saw him standing in the kitchen with two guns.
Lil Durk said: “I got those pipes (guns) ’cause (expletive) always be tryin’ to take my bands (money)."
Lil Durk was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
In August 2013, Durk appeared in court pleading guilty to gun possession charges and was given probation. I remember him vowing that he would never appear in court again. “You can put a capital ‘N’ — for never.”
