'Tis the holiday season, and the City of Temple is in the Christmas spirit. There are several things happening this month to help get you into the Christmas spirit as well.

Let's start with the Senior Drive Through Christmas Dinner. This will be happening at the Sammons Community Center on Friday December 18 from 4:30 - 6:30p. This event is for guest ages 50 and up. The to-go holiday meal is just $5 per plate and if you'd like to take advantage, you'll need to reserve your plate by Friday, December 11th, no later than 4pm. All safety measures will be enforced. Happening on the same night, Friday, December 11th at Reuben D. Talasek Bend of the River Park is the Very Special Christmas Party. This event is for children with disabilities (ages 21 and under) and their families. This is a free drive-thru event and you'll once again need to register in advance but the kids will get a goodie bag from the big man himself, Santa Clause. You are asked to register online by December 16, or by  calling 254.298.5690. Safety measures will be enforced.

"Cinema With Santa" 
happening Saturday, December 19 from 5:30 to 9:30p.  Disney’s The Santa Clause will be playing in a drive-in style movie. Tickets are $15 per vehicle and you'll need to reserve yours online or by calling 254-298-5690. There will also be concessions available to purchase. All safety measures will be enforced.
