Def Jam Biopic?

Ok, the story of Def Jam records should be told.

I'm happy the conversation is being had.

Numerous sources have reported that Hip Hop's first major label, Def Jam records will attempt to follow the success of "Straight Outta Compton" will have its own biopic made starring Jonas Hill as Rick Reuben (Def Jam's creator) and Michael B. Jordan as Russell Simmons (co-creator). Though nothing is completely confirmed, I wonder who will portray L.L. Cool J? I also want to know why L.L. was left out of the Def JAM 30th Anniversary last year. That was NOT COOL. Stay Tuned!!
