Due To The Government Shutdown SNAP Benefits For February Has Changed
With this being the longest government shutdown in history a lot of people are worried about their government assistance and how they will feed their family.
According to the U.S Department of Agriculture, Texas and other states are set to issue February food stamps early. Texans in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – also known as, food stamps – will now have their benefits loaded onto their Lone Star cards no later than Jan. 20th.
SNAP Administrators claim they are working overtime to process new applications and re-certifications to make sure recipients get their February benefits.
