Recycle your Christmas tree, Saturday, (Jan 3) from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Killeen Special Events Center, 3301 South W.S. Young Drive.
The Keep Killeen Beautiful Committee and city staff will be on site to recycle your live tree into mulch free of charge. Participants will be offered a bag of mulch for use in their lawns or gardens.
All ornaments, lights, tinsel and other decorations must be removed prior to dropping off your tree.
Recycling saves valuable space in our landfills, so residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. For more information, call 501-7878.
