Made of Gold plan to give out school bags and school supplies to Killeen-Temple Community

Aug 17 2014, Local music group Made of Gold Music will be distributing over 80 school bags filled with school supplies to the surrounding community. This initiative is to create a community awareness about the less fortunate and to provide services to the community. These efforts are helping and assisting , where each child present will receive a school bag filled with supplies , free hair cuts, styling, food and beverage and many other give aways.

This initiative hopes to cater to the needs of low-income families in the community. Many families are under financial pressure; some have lost jobs and find it difficult to buy school supplies for their children. Made of Gold music’s motto of a “A rose that rose from the concrete” and ” The streets are made of gold” are the foundation belief that you get out of life what you put into it. Through the Back to School Giveaway, we will help struggling families provide for their children and inspire the community to partake in this commendable act.
