Enjoy the weather now while we have it, because another cold snap is on its way to the Killeen-Temple region in Central Texas.

It's 70 degrees right now, but come Thursday night, get ready for another freeze as the low temperature is expected to be at 30 degrees, according to the National Weather Service based out of Fort Worth. On Friday the highs will be 40 degrees but is expected to sink to 28 degrees.

The last time a freeze came over us a few weeks ago, my pipes were frozen and we had to replace them. The repair man let me know that this can be avoided if you let the water run at a very slight drip when you expect below freezing temperatures.

There isn't any precipitation to be expected, but weather is a fickle mistress. We'll keep you updated if there is a change in the weather forecast as we get closer to the weekend.
