Express ER is relieving $3.5 million worth of patient balances

This is wonderful news, especially to those stressed out due to concerns about medical bills.

Earlier today in a press release sent out by EXPRESS ER, their General Manager Dr. Dan Akers announced that effective immediately, $3.5 Million dollars in patient debt has been wiped out!

Akers said: “With unemployment skyrocketing, I think it’s the compassionate thing to do for the communities we serve, “I don’t want to add more stress to people’s lives. It is our hope that this gesture will alleviate pressure related to healthcare costs that our patients may be facing"

The announcement comes after The World Health Organization's announcement of the Coronavirus pandemic.

According to the press release, all patients seen before March 31st, 2020, will have their bill wiped out.

Also, patients being treated directly for COVID-19 won't be charged moving forward.
