Fear of Whales

I can remember the first time I was terrified of whales. It all started with a bad dream around the age of 9 and until recently I couldn't even look at pictures! It sounds insane but I can honestly say at least my fear is of something GIANT! 

In high school my friends would make whale sounds and it freaked me out so much I would freeze in place and sometimes even cry. Once I finally got out of the water you couldn't pay me to get back in.

I'm not as bad now because my daughter actually dragged me to Sea World and I had to keep it together but inside I was crying!

The fear is called "cetaphobia!" It is no joke!

Some whales scare me more then others my all time biggest fear is of the humpback whale.
