Fire on MLK Drive in Temple Intentionally Set
Temple's Fire Marshal's Office has determined that an early morning house fire in Temple Monday was intentionally set.
The fire in the 1100 block of Martin Luther King Drive was reported shortly before 5:15 AM. A family of six who were inside the home at the time of the fire escaped safely, and no injuries were reported. The fire caused an estimated $11,000 in damage.
A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for starting the fire.
