Fort Hood Soldier Found Unresponsive on Post Identified
Fort Hood officials have released the name of a soldier found dead on post earlier this month.
22-year-old Spc. Justen Ogden was found unresponsive in his home on Tuesday, July 11. The circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation, Fort Hood officials said Friday.
Spc. Odgen hailed from Humble, Texas, and entered active duty service in March of 2014 as a motor transport operator. In August of 2014, he was assigned to the 61st Quartermaster Battalion, 13th Expeditionary Sustainment Command at Fort Hood.
Odgen's awards and decorations included the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon.
