According to WFAA, back on October 13th, Fort Worth Police responded to a call from a neighbor who saw the front door open to the house where 28-year-old Atatiana Jefferson and her nephew were playing video games.
The neighbor pointed out that he called a non-emergency line and not 911 because he didn't think there was an emergency and just wanted police to do a well-being check.
