Texas is again affected by a massive recall for a popular model of vehicle that can develop dangerous fuel leaks, and therefore burst into flames at any given moment. This is the second major recall for Honda vehicles this month with the previous issue liked to potential steering issues.

The Honda recall involves three major models that are regularly found all over Texas highways:

  1. CR-V Hybrids from 2023-2025.
  2. Accord and Accord Hybrids from 2023-2024.
  3. Civic and Civic Hybrids for 2025.

The root of the new recall for 700,000 Honda vehicles is their high pressure fuel pump can fail, and cause cracking that effects the fuel line which means gasoline could potentially leak and be the source of a fire. This new recall represents the second for the month of October, and many are commenting that they are essentially occurring back to back.
