Fund Set Up For Family of Killeen Police Officer Killed In The Line Of Duty

An online fund has been set up for the family of Robert (Bobby) Hornsby, a Killeen police officer that was killed in the line of duty on July 14th, 2013.

Hornsby, A SWAT team member for the Killeen Police Department, was killed in a shootout with a man armed with an assault rifle at an apartment complex early Sunday morning according to MyPlainview.com.

This fund is to help support Hornsby's wife and two kids with anything they may need. The online fund said:

Bobby was a phenomenal husband, father and friend to many. Bobby lived and he did it well! He will be missed!

The fund is looking to raise $25,000 and as of this blog post the fund had already collected over $22,000 from over 300 donors.
