Good News, Caniacs! World’s Largest Raising Cane’s Opens in Odessa, Texas
Everything's bigger (and better) in Texas, and Raising Cane's is out to prove it.
Chicken Fingers! Keep it simple, short and sweet. Raising Cane's has one focus when it comes to fast-food, and that's chicken fingers. Caniacs will be happy to know that the franchise has opened its 613th location in Odessa, Texas, and this one goes down as the largest Raising Cane's IN THE WORLD!
Now Open
When it comes to grand openings, Cane's knows how to party. A ribbon cutting, marching band and cheerleaders were all on hand to celebrate. The grand opening celebration is spread out over four days and features the largest kitchen in the Raising Cane's chain. To visit the World's Largest Raising Cane's, you'll need to travel to The Permian Basin and go to 4001 E. 42nd St. Odessa, Texas.
Everything's Bigger in Texas
What makes this Raising Cane's bigger? Doug Haley, Raising Cane's Area Leader of Restaurants, says,
"It's a different prototype, so the Midland restaurant is a different prototype with a larger dining room. This one is full dual lined kitchen, and so we've got an eight bank fryer on one side and a five bank fryer on the other side, this is something unique to Texas. First time we've ever built it like this. Dining room is definitely smaller but it's really built to rock it out in drive-thru."
This location also added outdoor seating on their patio.
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner
Raising Cane's also celebrated their grand opening by giving away their "Lucky 20" promotion. 20 customers won free raising Cane's for a year along with the first 100 dine-in customers getting a free Cane's t-shirt. Party! Party!
