Talk about stupid.

We caught wind that Granite Shoals Police Department put out a Facebook post asking Central Texans to have their Meth or Heroine tested for Ebola, we laughed and literally said to ourselves. "What dummy would walk into a police station saying Please Test My Meth for Ebola"?

Well. We have an answer and GSPD hilariously alerted social media by calling the culprit the 'Facebook Winner'.

Last Tuesday, Granite Shoals PD posted this on Facebook:

Granite Shoals PD via Facebook

Breaking News: Area Meth and Heroin Supply Possibly Contaminated With Ebola.

Meth and Heroin recently brought in to Central Texas as well as the ingredients used to make it could be contaminated with the life threatening disease Ebola. If you have recently purchased meth or heroin in Central Texas, please take it to the local police or sheriff department so it can be screened with a special device. DO NOT use it until it has been properly checked for possible Ebola contamination! Contact any Granite Shoals PD officer for testing. Please share in hopes we get this information to anyone who has any contaminated meth or heroin that needs tested.

Two days later, 29-year-old Chastity Hopson became the first 'concerned citizen' to bring in drugs for Ebola tests. She was soon after arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

The following is PUBLIC INFORMATION. And the winner of the Facebook post challenge is: Name HOPSON, CHASITY EUGINA

A mixed bag of responses have followed after GSPD posted their 'winner'. Some got a good laugh, which is exactly what GSPD was trying to convey - that the officers are human and have senses of humor. On the other hand, some people said it was morally wrong to lie about a public threat and that the woman was a victim of entrapment.

What do you think?

In my opinion, it's the same as when a cop asks you if there are any guns or drugs in the car. They never say, if you say yes, you are going to jail. After its been established you have broken the law, by having guns or drugs in the car, you go to jail!

Same situation here.

She had to be high!!!

Chastity Hopson, at least we know your Meth doesn't have EBOLA. smh....
