Group of Killeen Men Taking a Stand Against Human Trafficking

I am happy to see these young men step up for a cause that personally I don't see a big enough effort to combat.

Until now.

There is a huge epidemic of Human Trafficking here in Central Texas.

KWTX reports that across the state, there are over 200,000 victims of labor trafficking and another almost 80,000 victims of youth and minor sex trafficking.

These gentlemen Johnny Mo, Brandon Martin of Krab Kingz, Nino and Jerome Thomas are bringing the community together to have a conversation about the issue and to find out how we can help combat human trafficking with a "Meeting of the Minds" at the Harker Heights Event Center January 28th at 7pm.

An event offering information about self-defense classes for women, children, and men, along with other services, will happen at the end of February.
