It’s Official: Brandy VERZUZ Monica On August 31st

Ever since the VERZUZ battles started earlier this year, there has been high demand to make one battle in particular happen between two R&B teen sensations whom we watched grow into adults and divas right before our eyes.

It's finally happening: Brandy will take on Monica in a long anticipated "Battle Of The Hits" on Monday August 31st beginning at 7:00 PM CST on Apple TV and Instagram live.

More than 20 years after they "faced off" for the monumental classic hit "The Boy Is Mine", the two will get together in Atlanta's "Tyler Perry Studios" to go "hit for hit" through their catalogs.

Brandy is coming off the recent release of her first new album in 7 years "B7" which features the hit "Baby Mama" featuring Chance The Rapper. Monica's last album "Code Red" dropped in 2015 but she's been making headlines lately for her back and forth with No Limit Records CEO Master P over trying to free incarcerated rapper (and Monica's ex) C-Murder.

Both artists have amazing catalogs of hits so who you go in this battle?
