
Police Arrest Belton Resident on Felony Child Sexual Assault Charges
According to KWTX, an arrest has been made in connection with an investigation into the sexual assault of a child in Belton, as reported by the Bell County Sheriff’s Office. The case began last week when a report of aggravated sexual assault was submitted to the sheriff’s office.

The Criminal Investigations Division then launched an inquiry in coordination with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Jeremy David Dupaul, a 41-year-old man, was arrested on a warrant for assault causing bodily injury and is currently being held in the Bell County Jail. Authorities have stated that Dupaul is facing a potential first-degree felony charge.

His bond has been set at $325,000.Officials also noted that Dupaul was already a registered sex offender, with a requirement to update his registration annually. This requirement stems from a prior conviction involving possession of child abuse materials.
