It’s been a difficult few days for Central Texas, as unpredictable weather has caused numerous traumatic events across the state. According to AccuWeather, over 80 people recently died following a major disaster at Camp Mystic due to severe flooding. This is not something to take lightly. Lives have been lost because of the increasingly dangerous weather conditions in Texas.

Understandably, many residents are now asking: Will there be another instance of this extreme weather?

According to FOX 44, a flood watch remains in effect today from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM tomorrow. Numerous roads have already flooded and been closed as a result of the weather. The following areas are currently closed:

Woodrow & Alleeta

Bunny Trail & Tatonka

3900 block of Robinette
Elms & Robinette

Bachelor Button & Watercrest

Willow Springs & Watercrest
FOX 44 strongly urges residents to avoid travel if possible and to never attempt to drive across water-covered roads.
