As many families in Killeen, Texas were likely finishing a midday dinner and gathering up to head back to their respective homes, a 911 call went out a little before 3 PM on Christmas day to report a man had been on the 1400 block of North College Street. Killeen Police Officers responded to discover a male with a gunshot wound, and EMS arrived shortly later to begin administering life saving measures.

Who was murdered in Killeen, Texas on Christmas day?

As of the most recent press release, the name of the man is still being withheld until next of kin can be notified, but we do know he was pronounced dead at 4:28 PM by Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson. It is very early in the investigation, and the Killeen Police Department believes the murder to be an isolated incident, and believe there is no immediate danger to the public at this time.
