As time goes on in the state of Texas, there is only one constant, change. Not everything in the state remains the same over the years. One very well known business in the nation, Walmart, is bringing change to Waco very soon.

What Type Of Change Is Coming From Walmart To Waco?

According to KCEN, the company has put forth plans to fit certain stores in the nation with new amenities. To be precise, 67 stores will receive them, with multiple being included in the Lone Star State. One of those stores is in none other than Waco.

Revealed by KHOU 11, a statement from the Senior Vice President for Southwest Business Unit Operations of Walmart, Paul Lewellen, said of the upgrades:

“By investing in our stores and associates, we are not only improving the shopping experience but also reinforcing our commitment to being a vital part of the community’s fabric, helping to build a brighter future for all.”

What Are The Changes Coming To The Waco Walmart?

KCEN revealed, thanks to a press release from Lauren Blalock, a Walmart Media Contact, what will be brought the Waco location:

- Enhanced Signage
- Expanded Departments
- Modernized Online Pickup and Delivery Areas
- Revamped Pharmacies

These new items won't take long to appear in Central Texas either, as people shopping will see them very soon. They'll be coming this year, 2025. There are other many stores in Texas getting a face lift.
