Killeen, Texas -- Mark your calendars, because the Killeen Food Care Center is looking to feed hundreds of military and veteran families in the Fort Hood area on Dec 10.

The Military Family Advisory Network (MFAN) has put together and will be hosting a drive-through food distribution event on Saturday, December 10 from 9am - 1pm at the Food Care Center in Killeen. Being a military spouse, these types of events are near and dear to my heart and I'm always going to share them with you.

Because of the Food Care Center, Tyson Foods, and the Bob Woodruff Foundation's huge hearts and generosity, MFAN will be able to help over 700 military families receive the gift of food need this month, something we all need to survive. Eligible families can get over 50 pounds of food to include seasonal produce, breakfast items, canned goods, and even household products listen, this is not the time to be modest, bashful or prideful. Everyone has something going on, so allow your family the opportunity to receive the help. This is why these events are coordinated  And pushed out to you since May 2021 MFAN has helped almost 10,000 families and has distributed over 1 million meals the public perception is real when it comes to military and finances that the military is rich military hunger is a thing and providing assistance to combat.
